FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What classes should I register for?
Click on your next semester of study and scroll down to where your major is listed (CMP, CSW, MIS). You also need to register for the classes where "ALL" is specified in the program column. If you are unsure of the classes you need to register for, check out your degree plan in the Class Catalog.
What if there is more than one section of a class?
If there are multiple sections of a class, you can choose your preferred section, depending on which class works best for you. If you accidentally register for a class that clashes with something else in your schedule, you will get an error message.
Where can I view my degree plan and class descriptions?
You can view this information in the Class Catalog.
Which ensemble should I choose?
For Spring 2020, you can choose one of the following ensembles: Guitar Ensemble - MUS 3810, Section 1 (Audition required, please contact Kris); Advanced Vocal Ensemble - MUS 3810, Section 2 (Audition required, please contact TBC); or African Drum Ensemble - MUS 3835
What if I have transfer credits?
If you have had previous college transcripts sent to MSU Denver, the transfer office will email you a report of which classes count towards your current degree. Once you receive this notification that the transcripts have been reviewed, contact Campus Manager, Drew Schultz, who will be able to advise you. Drew's email is dschul24@msudenver.edu.
What should I do if I failed class(es) in previous semesters?
Failing classes may affect your progression and ability to continue with your cohort. Please contact Allye Gaietto (allyegaietto@dime-detroit.com) to set up an advising meeting.
What if I still have a balance?
You can't register unless your balance is below $200. You can pay your balance by visiting the Student Hub.
Where can I see my schedule?
You can view your schedule by clicking this link (MSU net ID login required). You can also view your class schedule on the Student Hub. Click “Registration” and then “View schedule by Date/Time.”

STEP 1:
Click below to access the Spring 2020 class details for your next semester of study. Make a note of the CRN numbers for your classes
STEP 2:
Visit the Student Hub HERE. Click on the REGISTER tab and log in using your NetID and password. You may be asked to confirm your address details.
STEP 3:
If prompted, select: “Spring 2020.” Then click “Add/Drop/Waitlist Classes.”
STEP 4:
Scroll down to “Add Classes Worksheet”. Enter the CRN numbers for your Spring 2020 classes and click “Submit Changes.” Check the list of classes for accuracy.
