What’s Happening At DIME Detroit This Week: 9/25 – 9/30

Summer is officially over but things are still heating up here at DIME Detroit! Our students and staff are busier than ever, inside and outside the classroom. You can catch them hitting the stage this week at the following venues and locations!

Eastern Market After Dark 2017: Dime Takeover! Thursday, September 28th
Join us for the DIME Takeover the 7th Annual Eastern Market After Dark! We are happy to announce that DIME Detroit students Ally EvensonMax PriceMa BakerDevin Woodson and Lex Whyms, and Frankie P, will be performing alongside DIME staff member Allye Gaietto, and Original 1265 Recordings artists CharityA-Plus and C3 at the SHED #5 plaza from 7pm-10pm. The event will be hosted by DIME Detroit’s Head of Drums Eric “Rain Man” Gaston.

GOLD ROUTE with Brother Son Live at The Underground at DIME! Friday, September 29th
Don’t miss recent drum graduate, Steve Radzom’s band Gold Route performing live in The Underground at DIME Friday, September 29th! Doors open at 7pm! Get ready to nod your head all night long with LILAC LUNGS, Something More and The Weekend Classic supporting. Second year DIME Songwriting student Frank Harrington‘s band Brother Son will also hit the stage!

The Kris Kurzawa Quartet Live at Black Lotus Brewing Company, Friday, September 29th
DIME Detroit Guitar instructor Kris Kurzawa will be playing live at Black Loutus Brewing Company Friday, September 29th from 9pm to 12am. No Cover charge!

Daddy & The Long Legs Live at The Cave, Saturday, September 30th
First year songwriting student, Aaron Hernandez along with his band Daddy & The Long Legs will be playing live at The Cave in Ypsilanti, MI on Saturday. Doors open at 7pm. $5 suggested donation to help these amazing musicians continue making music!
